Indo Russia Defence Deal
A number of Inter-Governmental Agreements have been concluded between India and Russia for cooperation in various fields in the defence sector.

The Agreement for licensed production of Su-30 MKI aircraft in India was concluded in October, 2000. Under this agreement, licensed production of Su-30 MKI has commenced by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) since Financial Year 2004-05 onwards.

Implementation of ongoing projects and after sales support, is mutually reviewed on a continuous basis at various levels on both sides.
